Ava White lived a pretty normal life, before her parents got divorced. Her parents have gotten meaner and nicer at the same time. Her parents tell stories about the other one, and she doesn't know if they're lying or not. She wants to believe them, but she doesn't know which one is telling the truth. When they're in a bad mood, they scream and yell at her and her two brothers. After a year of yelling, court and lies, she doesn't think she can handle it anymore. She wants to speak up, but she can't, because she's ten years old.
