Book One of the Heritage Series Imogene is thirteen, and for the past six years her life has been the most comfortable it has ever been, she doesnt live in a house as such, but rather in the remains of one, surrounded by the closest things she has to a family; snakes. She ran away from the orphanage at age eight and only ventures into the city to find the things she needs to live, buut she also goes to see the people that stand out like her. She has always been able to do things the other children at the orphanage had been able to do and talking to snakes was only one.
