The Last of His Name

15 parts Complete Mature

What would you do if the world suddenly came to an end? To one day wake up and realize that the society you once knew is long gone? This is what happened for 19-year-old Luca Walker. On the night that will forever be known as The Night of A Thousand Lights, Luca found himself cursing God and the Universe for the misfortune that befell him. "WHY?!" He screamed at the heavens. "WHY DID YOU MAKE ME THIS WEAK?! WHY DID MY ABILTIES HAVE TO BE TAKEN AWAY?! Was..." Luca then choked on his words. "...WAS I NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO WIELD THAT POWER?!" From all around him, people stared before there was a loud BANG somewhere. Luca ignored this as he slammed his fist onto the ground, failing to notice the sky light up with different colors. "I wish I was Stronger." Luca prayed as he kept his head on the ground. "If God, or the Gods can't keep the ones I love safe, then I deserve to be God! No one could protect them with that kind of power like I could."
