Brianna Kerri. She is a 16 year old girl who has a dark past. She hides herself from the popular people, knowing that if she gets along with any of them and one of them knows her past, they can spread it all around. She's scared. Frightened. But she hides everything under her beautiful big smile.

Now meet Alec Bolton. He's a new guy at Brianna's school, and he has the rep of a bad boy. He's reckless, and everyone loves him-falling under his charm the first day he walks in. So that's how he becomes popular, gets accepted into the football team faster than anyone has in history, and has made people worship the ground he walks. But does he pay attention to any of them? Nope. His only target is Brianna: the pretty girl who doesn't want to be noticed.

Now, ask yourself a question. What'll happen if those two live next to each other? Disastrous, right? But no. They get along fairly well, for no reason. Except for maybe that they may have adopted feelings for each other from the time they first met.
