An original story my friends and I have been working on for years now.  I actually just started the writing process over again.  It is set far into the future from now, after a great war. The officials decided to revert back to medieval ways. That also includes magic. Mages begin to appear, and now they are a part of every day life, but people still fear them. (ie. Element mages, animal mages, etc.) Kingdoms are no longer kept track of by everyone's word, but by the Records, which are based off of memories, received by a Record Keeper.

This is serving as an intro for now, since I don't have a final for that yet... I hope you enjoy!
