There was something different about that night. The snow was falling lightly for the first time in a while and It was finally warm enough to hunt it had been so cold and windy for so long, but what stood out the most that night was the moon it was larger than usual that night and was glowing a bright and bloody red. Lighting a red path through a pine forest in Montana. We could tell the path had been used by a farmers livestock it smelled to faint to tell exactly what it was but our stomachs would not shut up . The storms that had forced us to hide in our dens for so long almost starved us, but spring was on its way and the warmer air was giving my pack spring fever already. I don't blame them though I've been getting tired of running on four legs, I was in need of a warm shower too. The path that my pack was following came to an end and opened up into a field with a hill, but it wasn't the hill that caught our attention. On top of the hill was a farm with what smelled like lots of food. Even though all of our instincts told us to stay away from humans. We ran towards it being driven by our stomachs. Now I regret that. We should have listened to our instincts that night.

"This way," Damien said. He led me outback and into the woods a little where the dream of my mom came back into my mind, but when Damien started to take his clothes off, I backed away. "What are you doing?" I asked him. "Do you trust me?" He asked with just his pants on. My eyes stayed on him and I nodded. My hand hid my eyes as he took of his pants and stood in his boxers. I kept my hand there and suddenly I felt a wetness on my hand. A high pitched scream left my lips as I backed up and fell. There was a wolf the size of a car in front of me. It was a dark brown. His head hung low and he put his large paws at my feet. His front body crouched down so we were at eye level. My heart raced and my stomach dropped to the ground. My chest raised and lowered at a fast pace and I wanted to scream again. "D-Damien?" I asked softly after I looked into those deep blue, almost black eyes. He lowered his head even more and put it on my knees.
