Aurora Grace Fairfield is the quiet girl who is really smart but never speaks to anyone, well besides her crazy best friend Jasmine and her older sister Candance. She has some battle scars from her past that makes her keep everything bottled up inside, and makes her push anyone who can penetrates her walls away.

Lucas Xavier James, your typical cliché bad boy football player. He can get any girl in the school that he wants, but the one girl that he has wanted to notice him since second grade.

What happens when they are paired together for a rather interesting english project? Will he finally get the girl that he has been secretly staring at for years to finally notice him, or will she push him away like she does to everyone else in her life?
