Bridgette Haywood's plans for her final summer break as a high school student were nothing out of the ordinary - hit the surf, get a head start on senior year, and have a serious Disney marathon.

But when her childhood best friend, Taylor Mallee, decides to make an unexpected - and somewhat unwanted - reappearance in her life, her summer turns into something else entirely. Dramatic and chaotic as always - he promises the adventure of a lifetime.

Of course, there will be sass, sarcasm, and a fierce sporting rivalry. But will there be sparks? Or will they only end up burnt by the flames?

First book in The Summer Diaries series.

All That Matters [COMPLETE] de RomanceWriter2000

Liam thought that the only significant event that would ever occur in his life would be his parents getting a divorce. But that's where he was wrong. Suddenly, Liam's average Australian teenage boy life is thrown up into the air when he and his mum decide to move to California. Liam finds himself with a buzzing social life that he never had before and of course, a beautiful girl living next door. Will the craziness of teenage life get in the way or will one shake be all it takes? *AUTHOR'S NOTE* I just wanted to say that I'm sorry to anyone who was waiting for me to take this story further. I feel like I hit a bit of a brick wall. I love this story, it was the first time I started writing for me and not for school. I was getting some major writer's block when it came to this story which felt weird because the creative juices had been flowing up to this point. I love this story and the characters and I finally realised that any writing I tried to force out would be really bad quality and that it could ruin the story. I do realise that this is very frustrating; I would be annoyed if someone did it to me. But I really think that in this case, less is more. I may come back to this story one day, but I make no promises. I feel like my time with Liam and Saskia has come to an end. They can enjoy their summer in peace! Basically, this is just a feel-good summer read, and I hope I've brought you some enjoyment at least. xx RomanceWriter2000 :)

[Complete || 7x featured] Some summers are meant to burn. April O'Brien is a firefly-bright, restless, and done living under anyone else's rules. Fresh out of high school, she knows college isn't part of her story, no matter how hard her father pushes. So when a summer getaway to Hawaii offers her the freedom to breathe, she takes it, determined to leave expectations behind and soak up every bit of sunlight. But paradise comes with a twist. Javier-the boy who once had her heart and shattered it-is here too, and he's no longer just a memory. He's older. Sharper. Still heartbreakingly familiar. What was supposed to be a peaceful escape quickly spirals into late-night tension, unfinished conversations, and a pull April swore she'd outgrown. She's built walls since Javier. She's learned how to pretend she doesn't care. But under the stars and crashing waves, pretending starts to feel impossible. Just when it seems like they might find their way back to each other, April discovers Javier hasn't come back empty-handed-he's carrying secrets that could upend everything. And as truth and betrayal collide, she has to decide whether this summer will be the start of something real... or the final goodbye she never got.
