It's much easier to focus. No loud noises distracting him. He can tune out from the world in seconds. It's one of the many reasons why Dan knows being deaf isn't a disability. He's not broken. Others use their voice to talk, he uses his hands, expressions and body language. Of course, Dan could never be friends with a hearing person. They all feel bad for him and they shouldn't. All he has are his other deaf friends from University. When he stumbles upon someone new, his opinions start to alter. (The cover is sign language. It is not some sort of rock and roll thing.)

Dan and Phil have been best friends for years and Phil is the only person that can truly make Dan feel better when he's down. Phil likes Dan beyond the 'best friend status' but Dan has a girlfriend that he obviously loves very much. One night, when things go terribly wrong for Dan, a little too much drinking might end up changing everything for Phil and him. Is their friendship in danger of being ruined, or is it on its way to something new? *Warning: Smut in like one chapter* Word Count = About 29,201
