The Uptight Brat (EDITING)

Shae Miramontes is a lady who values her private life, takes pride in her principles, is a loving daughter to her Dad and Step-Mom, is a cool sister to her half-brother, and is the out-of-wedlock daughter of a famous actress in the Philippines. Teresa Cruz-Montejo abandons Shae for the career she can't let go of. In return, Shae despises anything that has to do with the show business industry and the whole media industry in general. However, after 17 years of leaving Shae behind with no contact at all, Teresa, without Shae's consent, declares in public that she has a secret daughter after all these years. Despite Shae's initial disgust, she is eventually convinced by her father to give reconciliation a chance for at least a year.

During the one-year deal, Shae apparently will not only go through a mother-daughter relationship but something romantic as well. However, will she be able to keep up with this relationship given that he is into the show business as well? Won't she feel like it is her against the industry all over again?
