It is several years after the Dark War that threatened to tear apart the Shadowhunters, a secretive race of humans born with Angel blood and given the task of holding back the tide of demons that try and spill into our world. In Melbourne, Australia, a young Shadowhunter woman must learn to put aside her grief, anger, and despair in order to protect those that she loves from a new, puzzling and dangerous threat.
