Steel Heart

During the time that dragons appeared on the earth, two weapons were biologically created into human form to protect the world. Due to their destructive power and dangerous minds, they were confined into a sleep-death state and locked in a tomb buried deep underground.

Fairy Tail are tasked to stop a new dark guild and end up getting tricked by them. They were used to wake the two weapons but the two weren't as powerful as the dark guild had originally thought. Instead of fighting with them, the two weapons began to fight each other, causing a collapse in the underground tomb. Both guilds were able to escape, one weapon in the hands of the dark guild and the other, in the hands of Fairy Tail.

Makarov decides to keep the weapon in Fairy Tail, hiding the truth of the weapons from the magic council knowing full well what they would do to her. The weapon they had was named Alexandria, the other, Althea.

What's the reason why the dark guild resurrected the two? What energy awakens as ancient as time itself due to the weapon's presence? And how do they connect with Zeref?
