"Y-you're in love w-with m-me?" I heard his deep voice ask. No this cant be happening, I thought he was sleeping.
I lifted my head from his chest and looked at him. I panicked. "I said I need to go?" I said slowly and more of a question. "Yeah, my mom just texted me and said I have to be home" i said getting out of his bed and grabbing my shoes.
"Alexis, its 3 in the morning." He said matter of factly. I laughed awkwardly.
"I know. Bye" I said making a run for the door. Before I could get out of the door Jake was in front of me. Curse him for being in football.
"What did you really say?" He asked. I looked down. He continued. "Becuase if I heard you right then im pretty sure you said you 'loved' me." He said.
