Infinite

Ariella "Ellie" Burke may sound like a cute little name for a sweet little girl, but those who know her run for cover when they hear it.
To say she was a troublemaker with an attitude would be an understatement. To say she was a crazed pyromaniac would be a little bit overboard. To say that she hadn't sort of wanted the accidents she caused to happen would be a lie. But to say she had no control over the "accidents" would be completely true. Right on the dot.
Since she was four, Ellie was "on the run" with her mother, traveling from state to state and never settling in one place for more than six months, seven tops. Why they were running, Ellie hadn't the slightest. One of the most important rules she'd learned in her life: never question Mom. But each move always followed the same thing: something bad that Ellie had caused.
Her twenty-first move changed everything.
After Ellie "sort of" accientally blew up a school in Pennsylvania, she and her mother packed up everything they had and slipped into a medium-sized, decently populated, yet well spread out town in Maine. This place, her mother told her, would be a permanent home. They were safe here.
Well, safer.
But being on the run taught her a harsh lesson: nothing ever stayed the same.
Nothing was infinite.
And only a handful of things were permanent.
And soon, entirely on accident (sort of), Ellie found out that the lesson was true.
She also learned that fate always catches up to a person, no matter how hard they try to run away.
