Hidden Truth

What do you do when the place you're supposed to be the safest in, is the place you need to get away from. Amber Garner, a beautiful seventeen-year-old girl had little confidence in herself and wanted to get away from the horror that awaited her at home. Tired of her relentless tormentor and still too young to be considered an adult she ran away from home.

Archer Stone a second-year college student in the Biomedical department was noticed by many and wanted by all. Despite as such, he remained lonely and suffers from his past mistakes. A person whose heart was locked away due to something he could never change.

•~•~• I didn't want to face him and he seemed content with staying like this if it helped me. "I'm sorry," I whisper as he pulls me in slightly closer. "I get it. We all have things we rather not talk about." I laugh dryly as I sit up slightly finally facing him. "I think that's the smartest thing I've ever heard you say." He rolls his eyes smiling which somehow warms my heart forcing me to smile too despite the situation. •~•~•

Though quite different, they're broken in their own ways. Can they build something out of the shattered pieces that remain of themselves?
