The Son of Death, Azric, and Haakan awake in an unknown land, and struggle to get back to The Astral Plane, the spiritual dimension that is The Son of Death's only way to get back to his own world. However, they must fight countless hordes of demonic creatures to find the gateway to their freedom. The previous life of The Son of Death, unbeknownst to him, is discovered on their journey.
