Now I'm here, looking at the window wondering how life would have been if I didn't let him. I should have seen the crazy. But like the dark makes shadows flee, I'll hold on to the little light he left me with. And in every room, I'll stare into the shadows in hopes of seeing him again.

I could feel fear, and my heart racing like a drummer who keeps speeding up the beat. My legs struggled to keep up with the beating if my heart as I sprinted on the jungle's spongy ground. I stopped in the blink of an eye and dove head first into a large and tall group of dark green plants. I don't remember anything. I don't know who to trust. All I do know, is that people are after me and they want something that I have. And not even the vines can hide me from what's coming. This is my first story on here so enjoy :)
