Mello and Matt fanfiction showing their friendship together from the start at Whammy's to the very end. Some parts are more chronological than others. Matt and Mello never really had what they needed, and being together would never make up for all the things they lost when they were so young, so they have the need to nurse on chaos and destruction to distract themselves from what's really going on and to feel something, anything, except for the truth pulsating in the back of their minds. No matter how much they love each other, no matter how they succeed in their evil plans, they will never feel better. They will never have their lives back.
