Gone With the Wind

Standing at the foot of his grave was hard. Holding back the tears that have been flowing for three days was even more so. He is gone now, and I feel empty and effervescent as if the wind blew I would be carried effortlessly with it. My mind and body ached for his warming hugs that I received every morning, and the hair ruffles when I had done something wonderful, but now there is cold air and empty space everywhere that can't be filled with his presence. Its like trying to put a 1000 piece puzzle together but you only have 999 pieces.

Delilah Carter lost her brother Mitchell Carter in a car accident. Now she is broken and depressed and feels like there is nothing left but sadness. But hope comes when a boy named Sebastian comes into her life creating happiness wherever he goes, problem is that she is the only person that can see him for now. If Sebastian can get her to forget about Mitchell and move on, possibly falling in love along the way, he will become human instead of being a ghost who has no chance to live a normal life. He know it will take time to get Delilah out of her state of depression and constant sorrow, but with lots of hope, anything can happen.
