Meet Cherry, the alpha's daughter. In-line to the alpha throne. The beta mates her, but she didn't know the beta could mate who he wanted. How could you ever get over having a fake mate? Well...you find a new one. He smelt sweet, and fresh. It was a scent I would never forget, never tire of. I turned to him, to find he was much older than me, maybe seventeen. I examined him, head to toe. He was muscly, tall, and his hair was jet black, but thick. When I looked into his deep, brown eyes I knew something. He was my mate. He knocked me off my feet, and swooped me up into his arms. His lips pressed against mine, and suddenly, as if from nowhere, my dad was stood behind me. As I turned, he frowned at me. I awoke to shuffling in my room. I looked over to my alarm clock. 2:47. The hell? The shuffling comes closer to my bed and I tense when I see a shadow of a man.
