Saving grace

The hospital was never one of Grace's favorite places. She always said it smelled like depression and hopelessness. Maybe she was right all of those years, maybe you never really got better. Maybe you just became more oblivious to the pain.

Some people would say she was larger than life and some would say that she was a ray of sunshine in the cloudy sky. But most people would say they feel sorry for Grace Webber. The doctors called it compassion but Grace called it Cancer perks.

Grace was your average teenager. Good grades in school and outstanding at dance. She had friends and enemies and maybe a little love in her life. But she also had burdens. It was called leukemia but Grace called it A Death Sentence. Her sickness has been stable for the last six months when she suddenly started getting worse. Grace will find love and war, but will she find peace too?
