Demetri had been chained up in a cell for the last ten years of his life. He knew nothing of sunlight, happiness, and the world around him. He knew a cell in a dark dungeon. He didnt know why he was locked there, or when they would finally end his torture and kill him. He was beaten, starved, mentally abused and finally branded with the symbol of the evil kingdom of tzar.
