In a forgotten village, every firstborn daughter must face the night as a living offering-prey meant to appease the Beast that prowls the woods. This year, it's her. But instead of submitting to a gruesome fate, she devises a bold plan: draped in a wolf's pelt and soaked in mystical herbs, she cloaks her humanity, hoping to escape the Alpha's hunger and survive until dawn. But in the stifling darkness of the clearing, as she senses the Alpha's shadow drawing near and feels his hot breath on the back of her neck, she realizes her trick has worked... perhaps too well. For even if she evades his fangs, the predator has caught a different scent-an untamed hunger within her he now believes he has the right to claim. Trapped by her own deception, she must face the unthinkable. In this endless night, the Alpha does not simply let her go; he circles her, each second tightening a grip where fear and survival blur, where her cunning turns against her, revealing a fate far crueler than the one she tried to escape. A haunting, visceral tale where the fight to survive drags a young woman into the depths of feral terror-torn between survival instinct and ultimate sacrifice. In this clearing, the line between human and beast dissolves, and she learns that fate is not so easily tricked... and never defied without consequence.Complete
