Vargan is a town hidden in the Einsam Forest plagued by flesh eating beast at night. It has been this way for decades under the rule of a man whom doesn't seem to want anything to change. Is he power hungry or considerate? It doesn't seem to matter to the ignorant citizens who live in bliss despite the dangers that the monsters could bring. That is, all except one can anyway. Jade, Vargan's "living corpse", is an emotionless orphan more afraid of the citizen's than the beasts that go bump in the night.
