The world is no stranger to change; and it welcomes it as easily as a woman her forlorn son. And fate, its ancient lover, has always had a bittersweet role to fill in destiny's ambiguous journey.

Mizuko, however, cannot help but wish that the world would remain as it was in the past, devoid of the nightmarish monsters plaguing her future. Yet, for all of her fear, she has yet to learn a lesson that comes at a cost higher than the stars.

Two boys, a naïve girl, and a nasty set of events could very well be the tipping point in life's precarious game of balance...but at what point will bravery mold into cowardice, and love into dread?

A long, long time ago, I began to write this book. And it holds an extremely tender part of my heart, as it is what really allowed me to grow as an author.

However, due to its age, it is by far not my best work. I do not dissuade you from reading if you choose, but until the end, the writing and plot is not exactly the best (at least in my eyes!).

It has been a ride, and I cannot WAIT to explore more ideas with you all.
