Everyone sees Evan as a normal boy and they presume that he is a normal boy. It's startling to think that someone who looks so normal could be so different from everyone else. Because the true is that Evan is everything but normal. He isn't normal and the only thing that's keeping him alive is the hope that maybe one day something special will happen and take him far from this place we call Earth. He's in for an extraordinary ride.
