Asha Ookami started her training at four years old. She had the most potential of any creature trained in the academy. She was a WolfSoul with a monsters spirit inside of her. The Ookami blood line was basically wolves in humans bodies. They had amazing powers and were almost unstoppable. Only one, non-human being was able to fight them with ease. He wiped out the entire blood line, letting only Asha live.
She was trained along side other AniSouls. CatSouls, FoxSouls, all kinds of AniSouls! She was the hardest working and most aggressive out of all the creatures trained there. She showed no mercy when sparring, had top stamina and speed, unreal strengh, she was unstoppable. But, every creature has a weakness, and hers was so obvious it was almost laughable. But even she didn't know about this weakness, nobody did. Not even her teachers thought enough to figure it out.
But all this training had to have a purpose, she had been training for thirteen years after all! She was being trained to fight in a war brewing on the other side of the world. When they are assigned to their villages and leave with their groups, everything changes.
Nobody trained in the academy has seen the world above them, or been in a real fight before. Fifteen AniSouls to one village, and Asha got stuck with the two she would rather kill than work with. When Asha's true power starts to take over, when they meet amazing friends, when people go insane, they still find a way to fulfill their purposes.
But Asha has so many secrets, and she doesn't even know half of them. She learns these secrets along her journey through life and pain. Asha will experience heartbreak, betrayal, terror, pain, love, lust, confusion, and worst of all, who she is destined to be. She learns of one secret that changes everything, even her motive for living, even her entire life.
BlazeClan is no ordinary clan. If you happen to be a non-royal she-cat, your fate is pretty much sealed, just like Goslingpaw's.
Toms are valued much more and are given higher ranks while she-cats that are not royals are thrown to lowly ranks and are always expected to obey the toms' every command.
What's more, the narcissistic clan leader, Cougarstar, expects nothing short of perfection. And his two nasty, spoiled children Lichenthorn and Beetlescar treat every single cat like they owe them the world.
And Goslingpaw is sick of it all.
When a prophecy speaking of a cat of grace and beauty bringing the clan to safety after Roadwalkers start to destroy the forests to build a hotel, the entire clan thinks the cat in the prophecy is her annoying and spoiled sister Swanpaw, but Goslingpaw knows it isn't her.
How?
Because Goslingpaw is the only one who heard the voices singing to her over the mountains.
