As much as I hated it I had to look, I had to see what’s going on. I looked over not at the man’s face but what really caught my eye was the giant wings on either side of me which was causing me to fly. “Phoenix!” I yelled automatically. I heard the man with his arms around me chuckle as we descended farther into the sky, away from my only hope, my mate, Phoenix.
