Goosebumps lined my arms and the hair at the nape of my neck stood at its end. I felt as though my soul had been sucker punched and was now being bathed in ice cold water. I could feel someone's eyes on me. The shadows lurking seemed to be circling around me, trapping me, trying to devour me. My heart was beat erratically and at the same time not at all.

Cold, alone, and frightened, I stumble around in the dark alley, trying to find a hiding spot, I was trying to hide from them. I heard their shouts and hoots at me, there was no where left to turn or hide. My breaths became frantic as they came closer to me. "Where did you think you were going girl?" The man asked me, he was only 1 foot away from me, his breath intoxicated by liquor. "I just wanted to dance, but you run away, I'm not going to bite......that hard." He grabbed my arm and pulled me into him, the other 2 guys surrounded me. He licked my arm, and smiled evilly. Then he was gone, someone swooped him up and threw him. I gasped as the same thing happened to the other 2. The person who had done it stood in front of me, a hood was drawn over his face. "Who are you?" I asked him. But he just turned around and walked away, not a word spoken to me...........

Geovanni Have you ever gotten that feeling that somebody was watching you? And that person who was watching you wasn't normal. I have felt that way all of my life; but then again I felt as if I went missing nobody would even notice or care I was gone. I am 23 and just graduated from college. I was there an extra year because I had to take care of my family. I had to transfer back into the city and pick up the extra work because my mom died, and my dad became addicted to anything that would numb his pain. My little sister and brother would be lost without me here. But now I could care less. A cold breeze blew through my window waking me up from my thoughts. I looked over in the corner and saw that nothing was there. It was odd because I felt like someone well more like something was there. It had to be my imagination getting the best of me. I laid back in my bed and closed my eyes. Then all of a sudden I got the feeling I wasn't alone. But the really strange thing is that even if there was someone in here with me I felt safe. Jordan. I watched her as she slept. In fact I have been watching her since she was born. I have waited half a century to find that one person. I think I have finally settled on her. She was my choice. I know. After being in as many relationships as I have you know things. I felt my fangs tingle. Her blood smelled so sweet. Her heartbeat was steady and strong. I took my tongue and ran it across my fang. The temptation to indulge in her red liquid was far too strong. I let out a low growl and jumped out her window. I was ready for a hunt. "Did you see her Jordan?" "Yes, and tomorrow night you will turn her," "Why do I have to turn her?" "Ezra, you know once you turn them, they hate you," "I didn't hate pops," "You wanted to join though," "True, but first see if she wants to be turn before you jump to conclusions," I nodded my head, before me and Ezra took off to find some fresh blood for the night.

Coughing as I have an asthma attack, fucking great. Wheezing as I pat my pockets for my inhaler, finding it and breathing it in. Falling to my feet, sitting on the cold floor. Growling. Turning around I panic. I see blazing red eyes in the darkness, crying as a dark shadow flashes towards me. Clumsily trying to stumble away.... That night I wish it was my last, but now I'm here. Alive. A word that is now a curse to me. What happens when I was suppose to be dead but was magically or perhaps purposely bitten?....

I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking. It hurt to do anything right now. But I still screamed under the cold water and pushed the hands away as hard as I could. It didn't have much effect. I fought and fought, but I was getting weaker, and colder. The pain was overbearing. I couldn't breathe. It was the worst pain imaginable; and as the hands that were around my neck were forcibly ripped off by some unknown force, I slipped deeper into the depths of the river. My hair was straight above me along with my arms. My eyes were open and the water burned. A darkness started to pull me under, taking the pain away. I felt a small pressure around my waist, before the darkness completely consumed me. The last thing I remember is thinking, save me.

It's like the whole world stopped. Everyone just stood there, not moving or breathing. The lights faded out and my lungs ached. I couldn't breathe. No matter if I gasped, nothing would come. Everything was a blur. In that moment, I knew that I just pissed off the wrong person, and I was dying. "I love you, L-" I gasped out before the whole world started to work again. I was grabbed by the arm and pinned against the wall, I gasped in shock as I looked up to see the dude from earlier, "what the h-" I was cut off when he placed his finger over my lips and shushed me, "Mine" he growled. yes growled, I mean who growls. Before I could respond, he smashed his lips on to mine and ravished them. Instantly a strange spark ignited inside me, tingles erupted on my lips. Before I knew it I was kissing him back. His hair was wrapped around my fingers as I pulled his lips closer to me. One of his hands stayed on my hip as his other hand, slid down to my thigh, his thumb, rubbing circles in a spot, sending shivers up and down my leg. His tongue swept into my mouth, exploring the interior. My eyes widened when I felt something very prominent against my stomach. I pushed him away and I began to panic. Suddenly, the sound of my smack against his cheek filled the empty hallway.
