Prompted by a request on Facebook, here is a novel about chicken...

I'm writing this on a whim, and taking guidance from Facebook, so if you have any suggestions, let me know! :-)

The plot so far...

AJ and Anna are two classmates on an end of term field trip that should be fun: abseiling, archery, swimming, and maybe a bit of midnight partying by the lake. But the campsite lies next to one of the county's largest chicken plants, and it isn't just the overwhelming stench of bird manure that is causing problems. Something weird is going on behind the metal fences, there have been strange sightings in the woods, and when the bodies start piling up, AJ and Anna realise they've stumbled into a real clucking nightmare...All Rights Reserved

Abigail and her aunt get along very well, and she grows up safe and in no harm. Although her life and goals seem set straight and simple to her, her mother and others are always watching, just waiting in Abigail's shadows for the perfect time to strike, and take their next victim in the creepy and deathly darkness of Brett Creek in Colombia Falls, Maine. This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3. I'm sorry for the people that like the original story and were hoping for more, so I won't be deleting this one. I'll update on my page once I start posting chapters of the new series.
