Seventeen years ago, there was an explosion at an orphanage. 8 children suffocated and four women burnt to death. 10 children survived. It was a phenomenon. How do ten infants, so weak and vulnerable, survive? But now the children have grown up - and they aren't weak anymore...

Cameron Manners knows she is different. Other seventeen years olds don't have hands covered in blood. Other seventeen year olds can't do the things she can. But she is shocked to learn that there are others like her. And so she begins her journey of love, trust and self-discovery. But they are still different and that means war. A war that means her hands have to get a bit bloodier.
