When you're like Sally you always wear a mask. A happy mask, hiding the pain you are really feeling. She feels constant agony but she doesn't want to bother others and share how she feels. So, to deal with her emotional pain, she begins to cut. But that can only relieve pain for so long. Soon she begins to think thoughts that scare her. Thoughts about not worrying anymore, not trying anymore. And she wonders, is it time to take off the mask?
