Elizabeth Hawes never had it easy. When child services finally took her away from her nightmarish life and dumped her into foster care, she wasn't particulary happy. Then came a women named Helen who changed Liz's life forever by accepting her into her giant adopted family. 2 years later Liz and her family move into a small town for Helen's job and in this small town a bigger change is about to happen. Take out her backstory and Liz considers herself an average joe. Never the pretty one or talented, but in this school she seems to be thought of as extraordinary.
Nathan Wellford was always the popular kid. He could be considered to be a jerk and player but that really didn't matter to him. His only dream was to go to Harvard where he could study law and take over his dad's company, and everything else was just an in between. He was royalty and everyone knew it, with his brains and beauty, he could do anything. That is, before she came along. Suddenly he stopped doing anything he wanted and actually started to think about the crap he had caused to people. Sad thing was that the girl didn't even know she was changing him.
Sure their personalities clash, but while she may decide to put every type of toppings on her multi-flavored frozen yogurt and he sticks to plain vanilla, they fit together. It's a wierd take on an old cliche but who can resist a good old love story?
