A small town, where everyone knows everyone, is suddenly turned upside down when the mangled body of 28 year old Topanga Portier is found discarded in a local lake. Yulee Portier, younger sister of the late Topanga, a crime journalist sets out to the small town of La Pointe, Wisc, with a total population of 309 people to find her escape and get to the bottom of her sisters untimely death. Upon her arrival, Yulee discovers her sisters death is far more sinister than she had expected. But when an attractive local, who is considered the towns outcast, along with his family suddenly takes an interest in Yulee, things get complicated.
