The modern world is dominated by men. Women have barely any rights, and no chance of becoming anything more than a housewife. But Miss Arvati's School of Performing Arts for Girls gives girls every chance to rise up to power. Using their skills as assassins, spies, and politicians.

Enter Allory Midifer, a sixteen year-old ending her first midterm of her 3rd year at the Academy. When she drives one of the hated teachers at the academy too far, her punishment should've been to stay after school every day for a week and clean the classrooms. But instead, she forced to tutor Lydia, the surprisingly intelligent second year who can't even hold a sword right. But Lydia isn't a problem for Allory. It's Marissa Longton, the brattiest bitch in the bunch.
When Arvati Academy for Boys run by Headmistress Arvati's husband, who doesn't know a single thing about what really goes on in the girls school, must combine the schools when the Headmistress is injured and is in a coma, each and every girl must hide their true identities as the brightest and most brilliant soldiers the country possesses.
Jonathan Declas is the most popular boy (and most arrogant) at the Academy, and Allory absolutely hates him. But a skip, hop, and gym class away, she surprisingly says yes to a date. But Marissa has her eyes on him, and will do whatever it takes to get him into her nasty coral pink claws. And when girls from this school say whatever it takes, they mean "I will make sure you are in a car accident the next day-whatever it takes."
On top of practicing the fine arts, studying, and juggling the unexpected friendship between Allory and herself, Lydia has it starts to see something in Jonathan's right hand man, Adrian Ondalk. But she knows almost every girl wants him, so how's she different?
Marissa risks everything--including the girl's real identities, Lydia struggles for balance between her secrets and her honesty, and Allory just wants ice cream.
