Aphmau was a Nightguard.  That may seem like one of the easiest jobs in the world. For her, it was the opposite. Every night, she went through torture, suffering. It reminded her of her brother(is her brother in my story), who had died in the place. She missed him dearly.

A flash of purple. She turned her head suddenly. Nothing was there. 

He hadn't been active lately. He had an heir. She knew that. Whom it was, however, he didn't know. 

All Aphmau did know, was that she was going to save her brother.

No matter the cost of her life.
