This is the story of James Carter and a glimpse into his life. He is a shy, teenage boy who enjoys the little things. He suffered the loss of a father, while also suffering the blankness of a conflicted mother. This is all written in poem form.
Funny fact: This was actually what I handed in as an assessed piece of work in english (Year 9) and scored 100%.

Neil was caught between a hard place and a rock. His lungs heaved as he desperately tried to suck in air, but to no avail. He couldn't breath. Tears ran down his face as he smothered his strangled sobs against his pillow. He didn't know how long he could keep up this act. All he wanted was Todd. Todd couldn't sleep. He hadn't been able to for the past few nights. All he could think about was Neil. His lips as they closed over a cigarette. His brown eyes sparkling as he practiced his lines as Puck. His wet hair and how it clung to his neck after a shower. Todd squeezed his eyes tight as he tried to will away the wicked images. He shouldn't be staring at his best friend like that. It was unnatural. It meant he was a fairy. Yet Todd couldn't help but stare. A story of two boys coming together, overcoming some of life's obstacles, and falling in love with each other; until one is tragically taken away.Complete
The Citizen Soldier (DNF)
!!Trigger warning: suicide, Implied/Referenced Self Harm!! Warnings before sections. . This book is currently discontinued, if I find motivation to finish it it is not in the foreseeable future. . "Trust me." His voice was soft and calming, the way that a good father could be assumed to sound. "This isn't what you want, it never has been and it never will be. Confusion is difficult to work through, but if you just let me help you, I can show you that it can be worked through." He rolled up his sleeve, showing several white streaks across his skin. The other was shocked. "N-no, I'm not good for anything, I'm nothing there's nothing for me." He shook his head many times, holding it in his hands after a bit. "No." "Can I touch you?" The boy who was trying to help this poor soul had approached a few paces. His voice was now quieter, more soft, and still caring. The boy at the bridge took a moment to think, then nodded his approval. The savior gently took the boy's hands delicately in his own and gently pulled the boy back. Well, less of a pull and more of a gentle suggestion. It worked and the boy stumbled down off of the edge. The boy started to cry. How could he be so weak that a boy, the same age as him, who seemed to have the same ideas and hatred toward himself as he, could keep him from stepping off? The other simply gently led him to his vehicle and took out a water bottle out of the backseat. The boy took it and looked at it suspiciously. "It's untampered, look, it's still sealed." Upon seeing this, the boy opened it and took a few sips of water. "Thank you. For the water." The savior smiled. "It's nothing much." He shrugged. "Have a phone? If you want I can put my number in and then you'll always be able to tell someone if you're having a pissy day." Surprisingly enough, the boy agreed. . They would both be around twenty.Complete

this is a story about depression and voices in little raidens head. this story has cutting and suicide in it so if you are triggered easily pleeeease dont read but this story does start off depressing it gets better eventually. raiden is a 15 year old boy who had lost his mother and father, attempted suicide many times, cuts, and smokes too. raiden gets back to school after a while in the hospital and he finds someone new there. this story may or may not have gay in it soooo yea...Complete

The characters are not abusive. The relationships are healthy, and I hope my book is as positive and easy to read as I wanted it to be. Chicago had never greeted the Valentines with open arms. Instead it greeted them with a slap in the face and reality served on a silver platter. Living with such a large family and such a small income was harder than anyone could have imagined especially when your best form of income comes from your mom being a hooker. Alexander is a middle child in the large family. At the prime age of fourteen he's starting to become confused about many things in his life such as where he fits in, what he wants to do when he's older and his sexuality. Nolan is in the same boat. Though he is not part of the Valentine family he got the privilege of living down the street from them. He had a slightly smaller family with only a slightly better income. But the only things Nolan feels he needs is astronomy, books and his best friend Alexander who is always getting them into trouble.
