The popular kids in 7th grade of Emerald Middle School, also known as the “angels”, share a secret about a former angel named Michael. The day it happened, all the angels except for Michael were at Julia’s house. Then he ran in breathless, pale, and he was rambling on about what they thought were fantasies. Michael told them to go on an adventure to another world, and then fell dead. His ghost guided the angels, and helped them, until his ghost faded. So, they continue on with all the information that Michael passed on about the world fresh in their minds.

But after Ezra 16th birthday things go downhill when his mother gets sick and dies his dad has to return to the FBI to help catch the second generation of criminals, Ezra has a close call to Death twice and they get sent to a boarding school. *Written in third person* Since the beginning of time their has been God and his angels. Seven angels: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Selaphiel, Raguel/Jegudiel, and Barachiel. What most people don't know is that there was one more angel. God's favorite, Jackson, is the forgotten angel. Jackson was quite the troublesome young man and often disobeyed God. He would spend time fooling around with mortals on Earth and spreading bad news to all. Finally God had reached his limit, and banished Jackson to the underworld where he was dammed to rule over the sinner's souls for all eternity. At first, Jackson saw this as a good thing, but soon after he realized that this gave him another reason to hate God. He could no longer do the things he wanted as often as he pleased.
