Flip! Catch! Swing! Crack!
Those were the sounds I heard when I knew for sure I wasn't going to make it. 11 years of hard training was gone.
I had already planned my life. After nationals compete with the ucla, then train and get better. I would go to the olympic and compete. I would get a gold metal. But everything I had planned was gone in a second.
My legs are shaky, my bones are weak, blood rushed out. Could I compete still? Could I achieve my life plans? Or will I be stuck here in this stupid wheelchair?
