Wounded was his squad leader, Corporal Stillwater, who is unconscious and recovering from surgery, Nancy Nagle, who had been injured by a thermobaric blast, and PFC Cromwell, who had been shot through the abdomen by a Soviet soldier. That leaves him in charge of a squad that has less than a half dozen members left out of almost 30, all of them wounded to one extant or the other, some, like Stillwater, should be in an ICU. He has to keep them all alive, and figure out what is next for the site and the crew of Atlas. However, the new Section Sergeant has decided to stay at Atlas and hold command, Group has sent reinforcements that are unfamiliar with the deadly atmosphere of Atlas, radiation and chemical levels are rising, and other people have plans for Atlas. The hero then walked away and left her there at the chest for all eternity. Or so he thought. Thousands of years later, now in a cave she hears someone coming. "Oh i'm fine, thought i heard something. It sounded like crying." She smiled at the fact she would finally get her powers back and get revenge on the human race.
