17 years old, normal everyday student, living in a prime city where old meets new, criminals hide in plain sight, and light realms meet dark realms simply by existing on opposite sides of the tracks.

The world as was once known by us, has long been evolved by the planet itself being on the tip of peace and chaos due to man finding truth beyond and among the stars, prompting change, both good and bad, scientific and enchantment wise. One of the most significant shifts being the ability to steal souls when you stray too close towards the outskirts of safety.

Mystery thieves in the dark waiting to infect you with their prowess and brand you sick where they have touched your existence, which is exactly what befalls Yuusha.

Confused and weak in guard, walking on a line in between certainty and unsure knowledge in this peculiar and demented century, she is robbed of her spiritual core, branding her incomplete and destined to misfortune like many others in the past she's heard of, but struggles with accepting her fate, therefor finding and seeking the help of another who seems destined to be just as miserable as she is.

A young rogue Repo-Man who is a wanted felon and not at all what one would call honorable, however, she has chosen him to help her in hopes of reclaiming what was lost to her; when the journey she pursues trails into not only the deep recesses of the city, but also the painful roots within her own mind, dragging her new and dangerous 'ally' along causing their lives to slip in and out of both walks of life.
