IN PROGRESS (I try to update biweekly)

Oliver and Brynn meet in the weirdest way possible: They crash the same date.

When Landon Thomas and Celia Black go on their first date, they bring their best friends (Oliver and Brynn) to help ensure that their first date goes perfect. No one's supposed to know that Oliver and Brynn are crashing the date, but they discover one another.

The two spend so much time running their friends' relationship that they don't notice their own developing. They're almost complete opposites, but as their lives collide, they learn they have more in common than they thought. But is it possible for a boy and girl to be friends without one falling for the other?

Will their differences unite them and cause them to fall in love, or will they escape the cliché and just be friends? And is being cliché actually all that bad?

"A guy isn't going to care if you're laughing with a dude," he said. "You laugh with friends. You do this with someone who is more than friends." Wolf placed his hands on my waist, pulling me in flush with his body. He dipped his head to my ear and whispered, "See? No one that looked at us right now would think we're friends." ------------------------------- When Savannah's long term boyfriend, Tripp, breaks up with her out of the blue before their annual summer lake vacation, she's devastated. Enter Wolf. He's the son of her parents' best friends, who happen to share a connecting lake condo. Savannah hasn't seen Wolf in two years since he stopped coming on family vacations. He's notorious for trouble, the exact opposite of Savannah. Wolf shows up one day and suggests that they pretend to be in a relationship during their two week vacation. He's convinced that his mom's adoration of "good girl" Savannah will change her mind about his recent house arrest. In exchange, Wolf suggests Savannah can use their fake relationship to lure Tripp back by making him jealous. Savannah is hesitant, but is just desperate enough for Tripp's attention that she agrees. Spending time with Wolf on their pretend dates becomes a problem when Savannah begins to have feelings for him. After all, Wolf is off limits. Her best friend has a major crush on him, and Savannah is supposed to be with someone sensible like Tripp, not the lead singer of the high school rock band, Wolf and the Midnight Shepherds. In the end, Savannah will need to decide if falling for Wolf is worth the consequences.
