As I walk down the winding cobble stone path covered by dirt and leaves.I above, where I was surrounded by withered trees, with the wind howling me I was scared.I look up there perched on the branches of the trees the crows look down on me calling, mocking me.I walk along the path the wind screeching calling to me as I walk.But as I turn the corner of the path I'm shocked. Join Jarred as he battles to find his family and find his true home.

I felt my heart stop at that and it took everything to keep my wings flapping. I landed on a branch a couple trees away, feathers pressed flat against me in terror. The raw, unbridled disgust and revolt that welled up in me at the complete opposite of my own nature only meant one thing, shadow magic. That meant one other thing that turned my blood to ice.
