Eleanora Dempsey was just an average college senior, who was ripped from her normal life and thrown into the supernatural world. Born months before WW1 Alexis had a hard life since her mother died giving birth to her leaving her to be raised by her father. When she was 16 she and her father were attacked by the Romanian coven. They instead chose to change her believing she could eventually help them overthrow the Volturi. They taught her the laws and how to control her thirst. After a few years Alexis chose to leave the coven and travel on her own but stayed far from Italy as not to cross paths with the Volturi. When she crossed paths with the Cullen family and learned of their strange diet of drinking animal blood she joined their family since she disliked the idea of hunting humans to survive. She settled into the life of the vegetarian family by going to school and posing as Rosalie and Jaspers younger sister and blending into society as much as a vampire can. So how does a human girl who happens to be Edwards mate help Alexis find her soulmate after facing a sadistic tracker, saving her brother from being killed by the Volturi, and then a redhead vampire and her army of newborns created to kill her coven? Will she eventually join her mate in Volterra or stay and protect her family after her niece is born?
