Oh god, I know I am going to regret this, my last nuzlock ended horribly, but oh well.
Rules:
1: Capture the first Pokemon in the area, if you kill it, oh well, if you have no poke balls, oh well, if you already have it, oh well.
Only exception is to shinys.
2: If a Pokemon faints, it's dead. If all of your team faints, then you are done on your adventure.
3: Name all the Pokemon you capture
4: Legendaries can be captured, but only used whilst battling the Elite 4. First Encounter rule still applies.
5: Evolution is limited and can only be done to reach full evolution, a full 10 levels after requirements are made.
(example: if I had a Bellsprout, and it evolves at level 21, then I would have to wait until level 31 to let it evolve into Weepinbell and then, if I don't train it, obtain a leafstone, then wait until level 41 to evolve it.)

Timeline of Errors
The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be a rather absurd, edgy story of how bad things just happen, people are just doing whatever, and how people are pushed to be "saviours", but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realised. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away. Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo. However, all of the characters are mine, with inclusion of an invention (The Flying Flower) and a new territory where the story is set.Complete

Alright, this I've been wanting to do for years. This series will follow my character through his various journeys throughout the pokemon games, with a few samples from the show just for character reasons. This isn't an ash fanfic, He's not even in this series. My rivals name is just the first thing I thought of, so don't rage please. I will deviate from the games a few times to make it a little more interesting, but overall it's the same. This is set in the game universe of Pokemon, with a few twists, people can understand Pokemon, IRL animals aka "natural animals" are also around, and some of them have a few special abilities. Also, the protagonist ages. Q - Who are the Main Protagonists and the rivals? A - Red, a character from the Pokemon Video Games is the main protagonist along with his best friend Leaf. Whereas the character Blue (also known as Gary in the anime) is more of a frenemy than a rival. The main rivals would be Team Rocket Grunts - Cassidy and Butch as well as their Boss, Giovanni. Q - Is this story based on Pokemon Red or FireRed? A - The story has a few iconic moments from the games/manga but those events do not play a big part in the main story arc. Q - Is Ash Ketchum in it? A - The story takes place in its own universe. I try to bring some events from the games, the manga, and the anime. You get to see a different version of Ash Ketchum (close to how he has been depicted in the anime) in 2 chapters of this book. Q - Is Team Rocket the same as in the anime? A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Team Rocket is darker than in any previous versions and has a purpose and a plan other than stealing. Giovanni's plan plays out slowly in the course of three books. Q - It has time travel? A - It does, time travel is hinted at in the first book with the actual "time traveling" in the second book. Q - "I hope the protagonist has a father, hahaha" A - Yes, he does.
