Hi guys, i wrote this for an english assesment and i got an A.It's Johnny from the Outsiders talking to the nurse in the hospital that looks after him, right before he dies. Take this as the scene before Johnny dies with Ponyboy by his side.It takes place in the time of the soc fight. If you haven't read the outsiders don't read, i may not make sense. P.s the book Johnny gives is Gone with the wind if you don't remember.

The one part I hate to remember was going unconscious in the hospital. I heard Dally's voice he looked just like her I remember his words ragged and upset "wake up Johnny, c'mon Johnny don't die". I wanted to die though I had lost everything but then another part of me said don't die I had been struggling through depression when she had left maybe it was my turn to leave. My back was done for even if I did survive I wouldn't be able to walk again and my burns were so disturbing to the human eye people would never be able to look at me. we both love the outsiders and johnnyboy so why not write oneshots about them?! the au we're going to mostly be using is that they're living in our time (still the same setting). here's some details about it: • ages: darry - 23, soda - 19, pony - 17, johnny - 16, dally - 20, steve - 20, two-bit - 21 and a half. (we upped everyone's ages by 3 except johnny, because we originally upped pony's by 3. so we made it fair) • dally lives alone with his two puppers :') their names are booper (a sheltie + corgi mix) and waffle (a dachshund)! (he's a college drop out, but has a paying job) • darry is a college graduate and has a job that he loves. soda, steve, and two bit are still in college and are living with their families. • pony and johnny are, of course, in high school. • everyone's families are the same. (except maybe the fact that their parents are willing to pay for school. idk if they don't in the book) • everyone's personalities are the same.
