Katerina Slade doesn't talk. Everyone at Reach High School knows that. No one could understand why she was so isolated and closed-off. They couldn't possibly know that Katerina has been broken beyond repair, that she was terrified of the world and She would rather be alone than get hurt again. She couldn't afford to let anyone in, not after what happened.
