You laugh.
You,yourself can't believe it.
Until,you hear it with your own ears.
Surprisingly,it feels good.
This new-found company,despite those lonely days,seems consoling to the heart.
My heart;which has been bruised with cuts all over,engulfed by numbness.
But it's all subsiding.
Slowly indeed but that's enough.
But everyone's bound to leave me,
Its just based on the duration.
I'll wait.
I'll still keep my heart in my cage,the same way,
Cold and away from everything that happens in my life.
I don't want to get my hopes up high.
I'm so sick of feeling dejected and vulnerable.
Until then,I'll take the path where this darkness leads me to.
