Charlie struggles to keep any faith in humanity. his life is a downwards spiral towards a vacant funeral and a suicide note. All until he meets porcelain. a cancer patient.
Love is inevitable and love is infinite. But as they begin to fall into endless oblivions of their fairytale fantasies, both their lives take a turn for the worst. Both broken. Both brittle.
This isn't a love story. This is a survival story.

He starts doing more drastic things as he resets his game save file repeatedly, but the world cannot handle all the tampering he has done. It's only a matter of time before the code itself fails to continue. TW: Suicide, dark themes, heartbreak, and general sadness. Metanote: Suicide, suicidal thoughts, and the lack of consideration for suicide (usually by people joking about it) has been detrimental in my life, and it's taken away a lot of the spirit in me. This story is not meant to glorify suicide, but rather, to show the constant pain that it can leave people with. I am not saying that those who committed suicide are somehow "evil," but I am saying that there are real-world consequences for those who are left behind. Once you see Charles's story, you will understand what I mean.Complete
