"You will always be safe with me."

So there's this girl. She's that girl with the near perfect life. She had great friends who loved getting into trouble with her, rich parents who provided for her, and boyfriend who bought her food. What more could you ask for?

Everything seemed great until things took a turn for the worst. The "incident" happened and she soon found out how misleading people really can be. She undergoes panic attacks afraid to let anyone get close to her, especially boys. Touching? Nearly off-limits. Feelings for another guy? She doesn't want to let anyone in, much less boys, already knowing that when you get to close to the flame, you get burned. To protect their daughter, her parents send her away to near rural, Wynn, Arkansas to live for a year with one of their old college buddies and his family, the Watsons, who just so happens to have kids her age.

Life couldn't get much more out of Alex's Mae Robinson's grasp.

Ah, but life took that as a challenge. Insert him, the misunderstood guy of Wynn. He's got a past of his own and has to battle his own demons, just like Alex. But unlike everyone else, he sees through Alex's many facades to the real her and against all odds, the two form a relationship unlike any other. They both want to help the other, but the question is, how?

Can he help Alex with her problems, or will everything come back to haunt her, possibly taking her life and the lives of the people she loves? Can he save her in time, or will he be too late to make a difference? Join Alex on her journey of finding who you can trust, who you can count on, and who you can love.

Only Hayden Watson can find out.
